Yoga and its meaning
Yoga in a word actually refers to be in perfect harmony with your body. A state where the body, mind and spirit are all in tandem with absolute existence. It’s a plane where you are in absolute control of yourself and you have fine-tuned yourself to such a point that everything functions beautifully within you. It's also a state which gets you in the most synchronized mode of yourself.
If you notice, it’s when you're happy that your energies naturally function better. You also feel that you have insatiable energy on that day. It doesn't matter really if you don’t eat, or sleep, it just is in perfect rhythm! It’s just a matter of little happiness to liberate you from your normal limitations of energy and capability.
Yoga is the science of activating your inner energies in a way that your body, mind and emotions function at their highest peak. And when this happens especially in a totally different state of relaxation, you attain a certain level of blissfulness. It is in this state that you can be released from so many things that most people are suffering from. When you come to your office with a nagging headache its tough to work accurately. So you pop in a pill. When actually that’s not the remedy for the headache, but it does give you temporary relief! While it’s not a major disease, but it definitely takes away your whole capability for that day. And believe it or not, it’s just that throbbing head that takes away everything. With the practice of yoga, your entire being gets recharged and energized keeping you at the highest peak possible.
Functioning of oneself through Yoga
There are several other dimensions to yoga. While activating your energies comes forefront; you can function in a different way as well. Meditation and yoga being interlinked, they act in various methods giving you the similar heightened effect. While being seated for something more specific at your job, you may actually perform your tasks in much the same manner with a difference.
Energy is existent throughout the universe. This energy might also be existent in different things, for example as in a rock. Yoga makes you believe that everything operates on the same energy, just that the functioning is at different levels of capability.
Similarly among human beings, though we’re all made of the same energy, we still don’t function at the same level of capability. What you might call capability or talent, or aptitude and what you might attach your ability to do things in the world, your creativity, are just the certain ways your energy functions. What you have with you and what you are born with together make up your energy channels.
