Your Body Speaks!

Images about your body are known to one and all, even before you realize it, here's how your body speaks ....
What is body image?
According to me body image is the image of my body, and let me tell you, it ain’t all that great. I take it that because of my huge size and the overall image I have of myself, with a few skills thrown in, my body image is.. Well… not all that bad either! So what is it with people who compare themselves with the raving beauties, while measuring up oneself?

Its easy to speak of beauties who take care of their bounties but difficult to pin yourself as good in front of them. The reason why they appear great and we do not is because of the huge line of comparison that we set for ourselves pitted against them. I mean not losing weight is like any crime that you tolerate, you know its existent but do nothing about it.

While not always easy, it is possible to change how you view yourself.

Body image and self-esteem
There are times when you might have a negative image about yourself, so it’s best if you make yourself do some introspection. A negative image about you can be reflected from afar. From the perfume you wear, from the way you walk, negative images and signs are easy to detect. People who have a low esteem are ones that crave for attention most of the time. You can detect it in the air. Their perfume is always strong.

They love wearing bright colors and believe it is because of them that the fashion scene exists. For a large time in their lives, they thrive on admiration and their demeanor can be taken as being confident, especially if people misunderstand them. There is another rung of people, those who think so negatively about themselves that it is reflected y the way they talk. These people are generally termed by us as pessimists.

And if you don't like yourself, you may feel you're not capable of making lifestyle changes to control your weight or you're simply not worth making the effort for. Any program, weight loss or otherwise, begins with the belief that you can change the way you look! A lack of self-esteem makes the entire programs go for a toss. Here’s what you can do about it.

The "How’s of changing yourself
* If you have totally lost hope, then you can begin by writing down the things that you love doing the most. Make a list of what makes you happy and what doesn’t. This helps in understanding the reasons for your low self-esteem.

* if you have a problem losing weight, make it a point to ask friends or do some research on your won to find out as to which diet suits you.

* Get to the parlor and pamper yourself from time to time. Changing your hair color or even your hairstyle can help you look great and feel better. Generally hair styles can make you look great and can instantly change the way you look, have a great stylist work on your hair and you'll see what I mean!

* If you think going out shopping can help you feel good, as some people love to window shop, go ahead and indulge. This way you not only get to know what's in but also have some idea when you purchase that you are buying it at the right price.

*Begin each day with a smile. Look into the mirror as soon as you get up and repeat to yourself several times that today is going to be a great day and I will make it even better. Positivism from yourself spoken aloud helps in ways that you would hardly imagine.

*If you’ve seen something great in the day, make a note; it may be an expression, or a beautiful baby you might have found cute or even a compliment you may have received. Make a note and keep it some place in your purse which is easily accessible to you. reading it aloud at least once in a day can make you feel great.

*Say thank you’s often; it may be to anyone, the office boy, your servant, or even your junior. Thank you's bring in a positive note and make you feel good. Definitely helps in the long run!

*Finally take heart, the world is sad enough without your woe. As a human being you need to spread happiness, as most people cannot do that, you should pride in yourself that you can make a difference to people’s lives, but just being there!
