Britney Spears rebuffs Fred Durst

Britney Spears has been headlining the news lately with her excessive partying, new smoking habit, and slew of high profile "boyfriends." One of her latest love affairs has been with Limp Bizkit’s frontman Fred Durst. It all began in January when the unlikely couple was spotted all over the place. Eyewitnesses even claim that Durst spent a number of nights at Casa de Britney. On January 11, a grammatically incorrect message was posted on the Limp Bizkit website by Durst. It read, "anybody out there who has a serious problem with my feelings for britney should just chill…" He also wrote, "I have never felt this way, so there. if you think im going soft then you go ahead and think it."

Soon after that, Durst removed any sort of homage to Britney from the Limp Bizkit website. Spears, 21, has recently been named Woman of the Year by the British version of Glamour magazine. When asked by the magazine if she and Durst had "a thing for each other," she said, ‘I think him for me, but not me for him.’ She then said, "He’s said some pretty amazing things about me. But, um, I think he leaped in too deep, too quick." Understate much, Brit?!

Durst, who seems a tad bit bitter and heartbroken, has apparently said that Spears tried going the seduction route when she arrived at his L.A. studio wearing a "see-through blouse." Spears was none too pleased. Durst went on to further say, "We were just doing our thing. She was wearing low-rider panties. She was very forward and aggressive." Durst also stated on Howard Stern’s radio show that he had a fling with Spears at her Beverly Hills mansion that included unprotected sex. Seems Durst has changed his tune a bit and apparently has a new song out that pretty much disses the pop tart. But hey, he’s just doing his thing…
