Crowe’s Fiancée Says No to Kidman

The wedding of actor Russell Crowe and actress-singer-songwriter Danielle Spencer is set to occur next month in New South Wales, Australia. According to sources, Spencer was quite upset upon learning that Crowe had invited actress Nicole Kidman to their wedding. At first, Spencer went along with it, but apparently she finally put her foot down and said no. Seems Miss Spencer feels her betrothed and his Aussie friend are just a little bit too close for comfort.

Would she be that far off in assuming any such thing? Not if you believe recent reports surrounding Kidman. Since her split from Tom Cruise she has been linked to almost everyone in Hollywood. Her rumored romance with Moulin Rouge co-star Ewan McGregor is reportedly what broke up her marriage to Cruise. Most recently, it was said that she was having an affair with the very married Jude Law, whose wife supposedly tried to commit suicide over the drama.

Kidman and Crowe were rumored to have had a steamy romance behind Spencer’s back. The two met back in their teens and have had a deep admiration for one another ever since. There was apparently never anything going on during Kidman’s marriage to Cruise, but once they split the couple was seen holding hands, kissing, and looking very much together. The couple reportedly vacationed together in Fiji over the summer and was seen "overnighting" on many occasions. Funny how Spencer has no objection, on the other hand, to Crowe’s ex-girlfriend Meg Ryan being invited to the wedding. Maybe she doesn’t see Ryan as a threat, whereas Kidman seems to pose one.
