Nicole Richie’s Not So Simple Life

The West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department is reportedly investigating Lionel Richie’s daughter, Nicole, for making threatening and harassing phone calls to Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s oldest daughter, Aimee. Nicole, 22, and Aimee, 21, were once very good friends, but it turned ugly when they were both romantically interested in Cher’s son Elijah Blue. Nicole and Elijah dated for a while, but a source says she never got over the feud with Aimee.

Aimee Osbourne reportedly went into the West Hollywood Sheriff’s office and filed a police report against Richie. "The report claims that Richie and a friend, Casey Johnson, made numerous annoying telephone calls to Aimee," said Sergeant Neil Murchison, who is in charge of the investigation. He went on to say, "Over the years Nicole has continued to taunt and make fun of Aimee whenever she’s had the chance. Now Nicole has apparently gone from catty comments and taunts to phone call harassment. It sounds like she’s made a number of threatening phone calls to Aimee."

Richie has had a number of unfavorable incidents in recent years. She is currently on probation for heroin possession in 2003, and while filming the first season of The Simple Life she dumped a bottle of bleach onto a pool table in a local bar in Altus, AR. During a brawl in 2002 she reportedly smashed a glass in the face of a partygoer at New York’s Bungalow 8 nightclub. Seems she is someone that was never taught boundaries and does not know how to respect others. Maybe she can learn some manners from Paris Hilton…oh wait…on second thought maybe not!
