Troubled Ben Affleck?

The newly single Affleck has been lying low since his split from Diva Lopez. Friends fear that he is spending too much time gambling and fear that he may even fall off the wagon. His love for gambling is rumored to be part of the reason Lopez called off their 18-month relationship, and he reportedly has been indulging himself regularly at casinos and private poker parties. A friend of Ben’s says, "He has been at the tables an awful lot since things started going bad with Jennifer. You can get an incredible high from playing cards and there is no doubt this is his latest obsession. He has more money than he knows that to do with, so if he loses a quarter of a million, it doesn’t matter."

With Ben spending so much time at the casino tables, friends are concerned that he may turn to the bottle as well. Affleck has been sober since his stint in rehab at the Malibu-based Promises rehabilitation center in 2001. He seems to be lost since his split from Lopez. He moved out of her house and is now shopping for new digs in Los Angeles. He has been spending a lot of time with his mother, Chris. Sources say that Chris did not approve of Ben’s relationship with J. Lo and was against the two getting married.

Lopez, on the other hand, has proved that she cannot and will not be alone. Since the split she has been rumored to have reunited with exes Sean "P.Diddy" Combs, Cris Judd, and lately it has been rumored that she has rekindled her romance with singer Marc Anthony. Even with the ridiculous amount of fame and fortune that she has, it seems that Lopez is just insecure and needs to be constantly in a relationship to prove her worth. Sad, isn’t it?
