A letter from my baby girl

A poem about a letter from my daughter.
A letter from my baby girl…

In the mailbox..,

Stamped and sealed

Eyes kinda scared to open it,

I smiled so hard,..

I squealed!

Addressed to ‘Daddy "…

With a sticker on the back….

That says "God Loves You,.. So do I,…Don’t Waste Time Asking Why"……

She is sweet as apple pie…

A tear came to my eye…

S**t…I began to cry

Her hand writing is so unique

The letters seem to flow

Blue envelope,.. tan paper with

A scent that we both know

She brought me up to date on all

The drama in her life

The letters smiled with all her joys

And frowned with all her strife

She could have called….. or e-mailed me..

But she took the time to write..

All ready read it fifty times…

And might be up all night
