Kevin Federline Plays with Fire

Federline said in a statement, "My album is sure to set the dance floors across the world on fire! The inspiration and meaning behind the title Playing with Fire is self-explanatory." K-Fed is getting planning to embark on a promotional club tour to see first hand how people are reacting to his music. His latest single, "For Real," is dedicated to "all the haters" and is about the media’s negative depiction of him. The single can be heard online at his personal MySpace site.

Federline has repeatedly stated the fact that he couldn’t care less about those who do not like him and there doesn’t seem to be a loss of people who don’t like him. He said recently, "The more I talk, the more I come out and people get to know who I am and what I’m about, it’s only going to help. And if you don’t like me, hey, cool. Everything in life is 50-50. I accept the good and the bad and just move on." Federline is reportedly not going to be performing during his tour, but will be giving out copies of his records for the DJ’s to play and according to his rep, Marilyn Lopez, he is still "weighing his options" about a recording contract.

Federline said, "I’m excited about this album and am looking forward to continuing my promotional club tour in support of it and seeing the first-hand reaction of my fans listening to my songs for the first time." Federline doesn’t seem fazed by the negative press and said, "Sure, there’ll be initial shock and awe. But they’ve already said so much [bleep] about me, it can’t get worse." His first single "PopZão" was slammed by the critics, Federline is more focused on the fact that his Website got over 2 million hits in eight days after it was released on his Website. He said, "If my album has even half that attention, watch out."
