Ian

This is about how I love Ian. I look up to him and that's why he's called my older brother. He tells me that he doesn’t want me to die. Then he runs away from me and refuses to talk to me.
My older brother talked to me the other day.
I sat down and told him my story.
He told me that he didn’t want me to go away.
"I would miss you," he told me.
I had been blind before, but then I could see
That he was the only one who cared about me.
Those searching eyes looked at me
Looking for something…
I could not tell for what he was looking.
He told me that everything would be alright.
I silently told him that I loved him, and held him tight.
I held him so that he could never run away.
So he could never leave me.
But on this day
I am filled with much sorrow
Because I know that there will not be a better tomorrow.
Ian had run away and was never coming back.
