Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie: The Simple Life 2

The two socialites have already begun taping the second installment of their hit show The Simple Life. The first installment had the hard-partying rich girls living on a farm in Altus, AR with the Leding Family. They had to earn their keep and do chores while living under the Leding family rules. They proved to be quite a sight for the small town of Altus, population 817.

The second installment will feature the best friends driving cross-country for a 30-day adventure. The show will air eight episodes – each in a new town. The two will drive a pink pickup truck with a shiny new trailer hitched to the back. Hilton said during a promotional gig for the show, "We have no cell phones, credit cards, or cash and we have to earn what we spend." Their journey will lead them from Miami Beach to Beverly Hills and will feature the girls staying with different families each week.

Sources say the girls loaded up on clothes, shoes, and partying before setting off on their journey. With their colorful backgrounds (Hilton’s penchant for amateur porn and Richie’s rehab stints) and ritzy lifestyles it will be interesting to see how these blonde road-trippers interact with different families. While the Leding family got somewhat used to the two’s outrageous behavior, the new families may not be so forgiving. According to Jon Murray, the executive producer, "The girls will have jobs set up for them, but will be on their own for almost everything else. They have to deal with their own wardrobes, hair and make-up. If the pickup breaks down, it’s their problem. And there’ll be plenty of small-town fun."
