Life Is Like That – Letting Know The No

Why do people take refuse and easy recourse to platitudes of a pios "WILL LET KNOW "when they want to say NO ? Is there a possible end to this hypo-crazy??
Why do when they say, "we will let you know",
We assume it as an unstated and yet an empathic ‘No’.

Why do when they say, we will get in touch with you,
We again most times write it off as ‘just not for you’.

Well, may be on such occasions, those deep inside churns,
Foretell for all it goes bout the lost turn.

Those butterfly hovering around in the stomach,
Muttering that there is as such nothing left much.

Leaving you wondering and wanting to confront,
On why they just can’t be the least as much upfront.

May be perhaps one could have said as straight,
Rather than letting time and heart beat the endless wait.

Would it not be better to say ‘no’ than to take refuge?
And say those pious platitudes of proverbial "will let know".

No news is good news; those wise men often say so,
Well, ask him who experienced the other side of a "No".

Well, why do we barter our responsibilities I don’t know?
Rather than to let know in clear terms; especially when you need to say No.

This hypocrisy of a proxy,
Makes no sense you see.

But then life is like that
Like it or not; it’s like that

Call it compulsion of social norms or decency of communication.
We have learnt to conveniently cannibalize "a No with letting know".
