It was reported that Baron William Trump made his debut after eight hours of labor Monday at 5 a.m. and weighed in at 8 ½ pounds. Trump said, "It’s a beautiful baby and she’s a beautiful mother." Twenty-minutes after the baby was born Trump was on the phone letting everyone in on the good news. He called into MSNBC’s Imus in the Morning to break the news. Trump said, "Everyone’s perfect. [Melania’s] very happy and it’s really great."
Trump, 59, and Knauss, 35, were married in January 2005 after six years of dating and within seven-months were expecting their first child together. Trump has four other children from his previous marriages. Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric are his three children from his first marriage to Ivana Trump. He also has a daughter named Tiffany with his second wife Marla Maples. This is the first child for Slovenian-born model-actress.
Trump claims that he remains young because of his children. He said, "I continue to stay young, right? I produce children, I stay young." He has also said that he is looking forward to having more children. Knauss has said she wants to stay close to home for the first few months, but would eventually like to continue with her modeling career. She did say that she would pick and choose her assignments, choosing only the ones that she is "passionate" about. Trump is currently presiding over the 5th season of his hit show The Apprentice and is getting ready to film a sixth-installment of the show that will be filmed outside of New York City for the first time ever and will happen entirely in Southern California.
