Gwyneth Paltrow Denies Rumors of Marital Problems with Chris Martin
Gwyneth Paltrow is denying rumors that her 14-month marriage to Coldplay’s Chris Martin is on the rocks.

Whether or not Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s marriage is on the verge of destruction has been the big buzz as of late and Paltrow further fueled rumors of a break-up by appearing on the red carpet at the Oscar’s sans her hubby. Paltrow shrugged off the rumors during an interview with Gayle King for Oprah Winfrey’s post-awards show. She said, "You see people get together and break-up and it always seems like the people who are the most public with it sort of suffer the most publicly if it doesn’t work out or if it does work out." She continued with, "It just seems like it invites the whole world in and I just prefer not to do it that way."
This comes on the heels of reports that the two have been fighting publicly and spending most of their time apart. Martin has been working on a third album with his band Coldplay and Paltrow has been stuck at home in London with their 8-month old daughter, Apple. A source close to the couple claims that they are having a hard time and said, "Adjusting to married life, then being parents, and now trying to sort out their professional lives has been a lot more difficult and complicated than either of them imagined." Reportedly, the couple had a very public argument at New York’s hot spot Nobu Next Door that started over standing in line for a table but quickly escalated into a heated argument about their personal lives. It allegedly ended with Paltrow storming off and leaving Martin in line.
Despite the persistent rumors, Paltrow’s rep denies any fighting, calls the rumors "rubbish," and insists that the two are "extremely happy together." Of course she denied the reports. If the reports are in fact true, what is she going to say? "Yes, their marriage is on the rocks? Watch out divorce court, here they come?" Probably not!
