My One and Only Love

Written for my husband's 46th birthday.
I do love you so my dear,
Whether we are far or near.
You are so close to my heart,
My prayer is that we’ll never part.

When your lips are next to mine,
All I can feel is heaven divine.
Your body's heat warms me like fire,
Our love for life is all I desire.

I love the way that you minister, but
Satan hates that it's not sinister.
I thank God for the Jesus in you,
Because it keeps me from being blue.

You bring me happiness and joy,
Your love is genuine, my love toy.
You're always my one and only love,
My angel sent from heaven above.
