Friendship Troubles for Jennifer Aniston & Courteney Cox?

Reportedly, Aniston and Cox have pulled away from their friendship since Vaughn entered the picture. A source claims that Cox and her husband David Arquette are not big fans of Vaughn’s hard partying ways and believe he is a bad influence on Aniston. A friend of Cox and Aniston’s reportedly said of Vaughn, "He’s an unrepentant partier. Courteney is protective of Jen and does not want her sucked into that lifestyle."

Another alleged source of tension is that Arquette hasn’t really warmed up to Vaughn and the two reportedly don’t have anything in common. When Aniston was married to Brad Pitt they would frequently travel with Cox and Arquette. It was reported that Cox and Arquette recently declined to john Aniston and Vaughn on a recent trip to Las Vegas. Arquette reportedly believes Vaughn is not right for Aniston. A source said, "David feels that Vince is too crude for Jen. He’s even tried to talk to her about it, but Jen doesn’t want to hear it."

Since Aniston has been dating Vaughn, Cox has reportedly been putting a bit of distance between her and her best friend. Whether or not it is because of Vaughn or just that she has been busy is hard to determine. Recently it has been reported that both Cox and Aniston are trying to make more of an effort to maintain their friendship. Cox reportedly visited with Aniston at her home earlier this month and Aniston has been trying to spend more time with Cox and Arquette. She even brings Vaughn with her on occasion. A friend of both women said recently, "I think Courteney learned a few things about Vince during those visits." It remains to be seen if their real life friendship can rival that of their relationship on Friends.
