The Apprentice Renewed
Donald Trump’s The Apprentice has been renewed for at least two more upcoming seasons, according to NBC.
The Donald’s show has been renewed for at least two more seasons so far, promising more of Donald and his hair saying those two-words viewers love to hear; "You’re fired!" The show is a 15-episode series in which 16 contestants from all lifestyles endure different tasks each week, while cohabitating in a loft apartment in Manhattan.
The show has been a huge hit, with viewers tuning in to watch the teams compete against one another for the apprenticeship and the "dream job" of working for Donald Trump and securing a salary of $250,000 for one year. Part of the appeal is the drama between the contestants. The show has had its fair share of contestants that viewers love to hate. Among them was Sam Solovey, who fell asleep on the job and seemed to be the only one surprised when he was fired; Tammy Lee, who was so disloyal to her team that Trump canned her; and lest we not forget Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth. Manigault-Stallworth proved to be difficult from the beginning and now is alleging that another teammate, Ereka Vetrini, used a racial slur against her that the producers of the show edited out. Vetrini denies the charge.
Meanwhile, there seems to be a little romance brewing between contestants Amy Henry and Nick Warnock. What makes the show so good is that it has all the makings of a great 80’s nighttime soap – drama, intrigue, romance, backstabbing. Not much that Trump touches fails, but he seems to have a glorified hit on his hands, and with the ending of Friends viewers will have to have something new to look forward to.
