20 Minutes Relaxation Guide!
20 minutes guide to help you in fighting stress and tension after a hectic working day. Follow the simple steps and energize yourself physically and mentally to enjoy rest of the day!
Those who have decided on no partying after a hectic schedule can surely choose the way they want to spend their time and relax. But those who want to enjoy the remaining hours of the day after work, and live life to it’s fullest can use few techniques to relax and gain energy back so as to be able to unleash the fun!
The following given techniques are normal and easy to follow and will help you in energize your body and mood just in 20 minutes:
Take Some Rest: The first and the most important thing that can help in releasing much of your stress and tension is 15 minutes of relaxation. Seat on the sofa or lie down on the bed, leave your body parts loose and don’t try to control them, do not shake legs and hands, don’t even try to listen to anything. For next fifteen minutes, try not to think about anything and let your brain calm down and purge all the thoughts (the most important part of this activity, because if your brain is relaxed, you will feel completely relaxed). This activity will help in stabilizing your thoughts and it also will help in preparing your body for further action!
Slow & Deep Breathing: When you are relaxing, breathe deep and slowly. Slow breathing brings our body energy level back to equilibrium. Deep breathing helps our body in increasing Oxygen supply to various body parts and in turn helps in removing stress, relaxes our muscular system and brain, brings our heart-beats to normal level and also helps us in bringing the emotional chaos to ground (ZERO) level and calm down.
A Mild Massage: A mild massage (of about 2 to 3 minutes) on chest, back or head can help you feel more relaxed while you are laying down. A gushy massage from your partner (or anyone you wish) will be more helpful than a hard massage (which is done at the time of body pain).
Take A Bath: Many people prefer taking bath rather than to take a catnap for fifteen minutes. If bath makes you feel fresh, then you can choose between the two options. But do take care not to give more than 10 minutes if you choose to take a bath. And if you really want to feel get energized, you can combine both the things, relax for about 10 minutes and take a bath. Add few drops of your favorite perfume in the water that you will use for bath; this will help in keeping your body fragrant for rest of the day and you will feel really nice.
Mild Drink OR Something Light To Eat: Relaxing, message and bath will bring you back to life, but you surely can go for a mild drink or something that makes your heart jump with joy. Food/mild drink will take your energy level to the peak and also will keep you active till the time you go to your bed!
Now you are ready to enjoy the rest of the day and its PARTY TIME!
Do not forget to get back to the bed on regular time, this will help you get up on time and have a fresh start of the next day!
