Nick Lachey & Kristin Cavallari Dating?

Just last week both Lachey and Cavallari declared their romance bogus and said they were "just friends." Now it seems that even if they are "just friends" they may be moving toward a more romantic relationship. The two were seen having a drink at a restaurant in Sherman Oaks, California over the weekend. An onlooker at the restaurant said, "They were talking to each other. They weren’t being overly touchy-feely; he was playing it pretty cool. But she was definitely flirting. She was laughing and flipping her hair back. They seemed to be enjoying the conversation."

Last week Cavallari said of the rumors, "There’s nothing to talk about, there’s nothing going on. He’s a nice guy, but I’d have to say we’re just friends." A friend close to Cavallari reportedly said, "Eventually it might turn into something more serious. But right now it’s not. They’re at that stage when they’re getting to know each other." The friend also claims that Cavallari and Lachey "have not hooked up."

Both are recently single. Lachey, 32,split from wife Jessica Simpson in November and Cavallari, 19, and her boyfriend of five-months Brody Jenner recently called it quits. A friend of Lachey’s said, "Nick’s not looking for a girlfriend. He’s not exactly healed from (Jessica)." As for Cavallari, the friend said she is "actually his type: blonde, a little ditzy, a sweet girl. It makes sense, but I just can’t imagine he would follow through with it." Lachey is currently on an 11-city radio tour to promote his latest CD. Cavallari’s show Get This Party Started was cancelled by UPN after only two airings due to low ratings.
