Teri Hatcher’s Abuse

Hatcher reportedly broke down on the set of the hit show Desperate Housewives and her co-star Marcia Cross had to comfort her. Hatcher will not name the "mystery man" who broke her heart, but it has been suggested in the media that the mystery man is none other than George Clooney. The two have recently been romantically linked even though both camps deny reports of a romance. Hatcher fessed up about the abuse by her uncle Richard Hayes Stone and the fact that she assisted in landing him in jail in an interview recently.

The interview appears in Vanity Fair magazine and says, "The debacle with Mystery Man made the parallels between her romantic failures and the legacy of her sexual abuse seem too obvious to ignore." The interview describes Hatcher’s "elaborate courtship" with the man who shall not be named and claims that he split as soon as Hatcher was able to open up to him. The article claims that Hatcher is "emotionally bereft" and says it can "hurt" watching her try and "cope with it."

In another article it was rumored that Clooney was the mystery man, a claim that his camp shot down. Stan Rosenfeld, Clooney’s mouthpiece, said, "I doubt Teri Hatcher is your source, and unless she is, you’re full of s**t. I doubt very seriously that your source is credible. I don’t ask George about his personal life." As for Clooney, he has been romantically linked to a bevy of beauties in the last few months including Hatcher, Lucy Liu, Renee Zellweger, and was most recently spotted getting friendly with his ex-girlfriend Krista Allen after the Oscars on Sunday.
