Heather Locklear Finds Racy Email

Reportedly, Locklear and Sambora had hit a rough patch in their 11-year marriage mostly due to their work schedules and the little amount of time they were able to spend with one another. They were allegedly trying to work things out, but it has been reported that Locklear found a provocative email from Sambora’s former assistant, a woman who had allegedly been a "sore spot" between the couple. The email reportedly contained numerous pictures of the ex-assistant allegedly including one of her wearing only fishnets and boots.

A friend of the couple’s said the pictures were the "last straw" for Locklear who promptly filed for divorce. A few hours after Locklear filed the papers Sambora still had no clue. When asked about it Sambora replied, "It’s completely untrue." He also said the couple had already made plans for Valentine’s Day. Hopefully he has a clue by now. A friend of Sambora’s said of the provocative pictures, "Richie’s saying nothing ever happened, that he never asked for the pictures." He adds, "It’s absolutely not true that they had an affair."

A friend of Locklear’s said, "She’s devastated. Absolutely devastated." In December it was reported that the couple was having some troubles because Sambora allegedly wanted more children while Locklear was focused on salvaging her career. At the time the couple said, "The real story is that there is not story. The truth is that after 11 years together, we are still happily married. Boring but true." Unfortunately, that is no longer true. The couple has an eight-year old daughter, Ava Elizabeth. Locklear is seeking physical custody with visitation rights for Sambora. They had signed a pre-nuptial agreement, which should make dividing the assets a little easier at least.
