Madonna Denies Rumors

The recent rumors that Madonna and Ritchie are "drifting apart" are untrue according to the pop artist. Lately there has been an annoying little rumor that she has formed a "special working relationship" with Stuart Price, 28. Price has been Madonna’s longtime collaborator and is the producer of her latest album Confessions on a Dance Floor. Madonna’s rep said of the material girl’s relationship with Price, "She treats him like a brother. They have fun and talk a lot."

A source close to the singer reportedly said, "They enjoy each other’s company and respect each other. Madonna’s always asking Stuart’s advice and opinions on things and obviously trusts him without question. She confides in him and regards him as one of the most important people in her life." Madonna’s mouthpiece said the rumors of anything other than a professional relationship between her and Price are "so not true." Her rep also reportedly said that Madonna and Guy "had a big laugh" over it and also said, "There’s no strain in Madonna’s marriage. Her relationship with Guy is quite good. They’re quite happy…They’re certainly not estranged."

Another rumor behind the strain in their marriage is that Madonna is working non-stop to promote her new album and to prepare for her upcoming world tour. Ritchie, on the other hand, has no projects that he is working on and has allegedly become bored at home. Said another source, "It is fair to say their relationship has been under strain because of Madonna’s excessive workload recently. She has thrown herself 100 percent into promoting her album and has little time to spend with Guy. But he’ll get over it."
