Ashlee Simpson Embarrassed

Simpson was caught on tape last November causing a scene in a Toronto McDonald’s by hopping up on the counter, insulting a staff member, and teasing a fan. Simpson was spotted a few hours before the incident allegedly drinking at the Toronto Four Seasons. In a recent interview, Simpson said she was "definitely a little tipsy." Said Simpson, "I was being a little, you know, silly and crazy that day." Simpson, 21, was caught on video insulting a staff member by calling her a name. She then orders the woman to stop talking to her and bets her $5 million that the manager of the restaurant would be nice to her.

Simpson went on to say, "I was laughing and joking around, and the guy behind me was like, ‘Uh, you’re gross.’ But he didn’t know who I was until I turned around. So then he was like, ‘Can I have my picture with you?’ And I was like, ‘Dude, you called me gross!’" As seen on the tape, Simpson told the guy she would take her picture with him if he kissed her foot. He refused and Simpson said, "You wouldn’t kiss my foot, so [bleep] you!"

Simpson admits that she had no idea her drunken outing to the local McDonald’s was being recorded and would be splashed all over the Internet and television. She said that when she saw the video she thought, "Oh, gosh, I really hope my fans don’t watch this!" She did say, "They definitely [edited] stuff together." Oh, okay, Ashlee! Simpson is no stranger to embarrassing incidents. Who can forget her less than impressive lip-syncing performance on Saturday Night Live? She says the incident, while embarrassing, has made her stronger. Said Ashlee, "…I felt it was a moment of growing up. Most people do that in college – mine has to be done in front of the whole world."
