Six Cans

Drinking and Driving...
Blurred vision, aching head
Sirens blaring in the night
I can’t remember what I did
I see the flashing lights

They roll me in the ambulance
I’m so confused with pain
I ask what’s going on, no one answers
I’m about to go insane

Then I hear people talking
They act like I’m dead
Then I see the white sheet
They cover my head

I see a bright white light then an angel appears
The angel grabs my hand
The angel starts to talk
She said you drank six cans

You thought you could drive home
They told you not to drink and drive
If you would have listened
You would be alive

Now you must pay the consequence’s
But worst your family’s heart is broke
They had to bury you at seventeen
Your young life disappeared like smoke
