I'm Sorry

A dark suicide/death poem…
I slowly cut to dull the pain
Just pretending it's all in vain
Inside I'm aching bad
I'm more than just sad

Suicide is a constant battle with my mind
There's nothing left in life to find
I just want to give up on life
So I grab a knife

I slit my wrist
And watch the blood fall like red mist
Inside I go numb
I wish God would come

I've made so many mistakes
I wish I could have a second take
I hope God will still take me
I'm sorry can't you see
