You And My Best Friend

I couldn’t even trust my boyfriend with my best mate!!!
A rose is red and so is your heart,
I always knew that we would part.
I didn’t think it would be this soon,
But obviously it would be doom and gloom.
I cried and cried with her sitting there,
I didn’t think I would have to share.
She was my best friend,
I didn’t think our friendship would ever end!!!
