Pamela Anderson: Mother, Actress, Stripper?

Pamela Anderson, star of V.I.P., revealed on Thursday’s edition of the TV news show Extra that she would like to give up acting and possibly perform as a stripper on Kid Rock’s concert tours. Anderson and Kid Rock, a.k.a. Robert Ritchie, have been dating since last April. She stated on Extra, "Within a couple of years, I am just going to bow out. I have a stripper pole in my bedroom. I was thinking that I would just take pole dancing lessons and go on the road with Kid Rock."

The former Baywatch babe also said that her first priority is her children by ex-husband Tommy Lee, 5-year old Brandon Thomas and 4-year old Dylan Jagger. She told Extra, "I crave being with them. I really want to stop everything and be with my kids. I have had a lot of craziness and it is just time to simplify." Anderson took ex Tommy Lee to court in December seeking full custody of the children, claiming Lee was dangerous and that "he [Lee] is a very angry, unstable man who presents a danger to others." Her request was denied. Anderson and Lee were married in 1995 after a five-day courtship. Their relationship was rocky to say the least. She filed for divorce less than a year later, they rekindled their romance and she withdrew the petition. She re-filed the claim in 1998, they briefly reconciled in 1999, but separated shortly thereafter.

Anderson said on Extra that Kid Rock is "the best person I have ever met. He’s got the whole thing. He’s the rock star, father, lover, sweetheart." As for her possible career switch to stripping for Kid’s concerts, who knows if the couple will even be together in a few years or if Kid will still be selling albums. His new album, Cocky, has only sold 223,000 copies since its December release. A sad follow-up to his History of Rock, which sold more than 500,000 copies in its first week. Maybe he was too cocky and should have rethought the name of his album.
