Money and How to Buy Happiness

There are many things, well almost all of the things in the world that money can buy. With the lure of money, it’s quite possible that you might want to monitor how happy you may be in this situation!
Money and How to Buy Happiness
Money, especially when it is unexpected gives one a dizzy feeling of inertia. Suddenly the wisest and most decisive of people have trouble in making them enjoy it. Most people are worried after the initial exhilaration of how to invest it wisely, in turn, moving them away from their primary motive of earning money; that is to be happy! So how do you buy happiness? We’ve tried to assimilate some pointer that might help you make the most of the happiness surrounding you!

Move slowly
Don't throw yourself, and your money, into the first harebrained scheme that comes along. Spend time savoring the joys of contemplation. You may just stare at your bank account for several days together before you reach out to spend that first dime. But all in all take time!

Don't let laziness rule your buying decisions
You may think and analyze your necessities, but don’t go over board in your spending spree! Sitting in a beach chair while servants fawn over you may be fun for a short time, but it's not likely to provide long-term satisfaction. Look for goals and projects that combine fun and challenge. More importantly, look for long lasting goals, something that can help you sustain your money. You could do this by developing your hobby, like learning photography, or a musical instrument, or perhaps even writing, whichever gives you utmost satisfaction. You’ll see that in time to come, you’ll enjoy and therefore excel in these, possibly making them as your profession.

Be wary of ventures where money and status are ends in themselves
A huge yacht is an obvious sign of wealth. But if it's not fun for you, it's no more capable of enhancing your well-being. Collect diamonds if you have expensive tastes, you know for sure that you will be able to encash these rocks if need be!

Surprise people
Look for activities that will stun your friends and family. If all you've ever done is sit on the couch, do something bold like get in shape, hire a guide and climb Mount Rainier. Climbing or trekking could be good fun especially as it add in more healthy years to your life!

Indulge in a little eccentricity at times
The more money you have, the nuttier you're allowed to be. Wear your pajamas around town. Call the best restaurants in town and pay whatever it costs to get that duck a l'orange delivered to your door. If all you do is think of saving then it would be no good for you as a person in search for happiness. A little eccentricity helps!

Look for new activities
Activities with heavy technical demands, such as photography, music dubbing, video editing, car racing or anything else that requires many hours of study and pricey equipment. You'll spend many satisfying hours shopping for supplies, learning arcane details, and talking with experts. Soon you'll feel like a member of an elite club.

Look for ways to include your friends and family in your new activities
You'll be happier if you can share your experiences with people close to you. Moreover forming a group of people you know helps you interact further, discuss several topics under the sun and help you build important contacts as well; a kind of networking!

Avoid being pompous or superior when discussing your new acquisition or endeavor
Nothing will turn away listeners, or set you up for ridicule, more than acting as though you know everything. After all Vanity does have a fall! If you just took up sailing, for example, take joy in all the learning you can look forward to. Listen and apply yourself, and soon you'll be an expert.
