Jennifer Lopez Deflects Rumors

Jennifer Lopez was in Germany for the Berlin Film festival promoting "Maid in Manhattan" and was interviewed over the weekend for a German television show "Wetten, dass?" (Wanna Bet?) She discussed rumors about her personal life with talk show host Thomas Gottschalk. Among some of the rumors, one of the most shocking was that she had insured her legs and bottom for "enormous sums" of money, a rumor that Lopez emphatically denied.

The latest romance rumors surrounding J. Lo and husband-to-be Ben Affleck have surrounded Ben’s best friend’s girlfriend Odessa Whitmire. J. Lo is reportedly convinced that something happened between Ben & Odessa before she began dating Damon, when she was Ben’s personal assistant. J. Lo claims the term "personal" says it all. Ben has tried to convince J. Lo that nothing happened between the two, but reportedly she is so insanely jealous that she does not want Ben fraternizing with Matt when Odessa is around, which has created quite a few problems for the camera loving couple. Also, it seems J. Lo has issues with Ben’s "Surviving Christmas" co-star Christina Applegate even though she is happily married.

Lopez said, "There are several rumors, but there are so many that three hours wouldn’t be enough time to discuss them all." Lopez told Gottschalk that she has "tried hard to maintain a semblance of normality in her life despite all the media attention." She also stated that she has always liked herself and never tried to be anyone but herself. Lopez says, in dealing with the media attention and the distorted rumors, you must have "some good friends around you and you need a lot of mental strength and help from God." With some of the rumors floating around, she must have a good sense of humor as well.
