Will Eric Lindros ever get his shot at the trophy... or will he simply complain that the world's out to get him?

The on again and off again saga that has been Eric Lindros trade to the Philadelphia Flyers, may have taken a turn for the worse in the last 24 hours. The trade activity has been junked again and now word comes from a source close to the hold out center that he may be ready to wash his hands of the entire process.
“He feels he has been jerked around by the entire process,” according to the source, who spoke with Sportsuperstarz.com on condition he not be identified. “Eric really feels that he ahs been treated unfairly by everyone involved in this. The guy is a great player and deserves more respect than this.”
Lindros has held out through the entire season thus far. He was last on the ice in game seven of the eastern conference finals against the New Jersey Devils. However, he suffered yet another concussion on an open ice hit by Scott Stevens. In the offseason he was cleared to play, but turned down a $10 million offer from the Flyers and stated that he would never play for them again.
“The Flyers are the one’s to blame in this whole process,” said the source. “They could have dealt him and save everyone a real mess. However they didn’t and they have failed to close a deal that would get him out. (Bobby) Clarke and his guys have really hurt him on this one and its obvious they are not going to do anything to help him in this matter.”
The Kings, Islanders, and Maple Leafs have all expressed interest in the former All-Star center. A deal was apparently twice done with the Maple Leafs, however in consecutive months; the teams have both walked away from the deals. The Maple Leafs again junked a deal on Tuesday that would have brought Lindros to Toronto. Lindros has often said he would like to play for the Maple Leafs.
“At this point he is open to playing anywhere,” said the source. “The guy loves to play hockey and just wants to compete. He has been treated unfairly and shouldn’t have to be jerked around anymore. The guy is a good hockey player and deserves another shot.”
But will Lindros ever get that shot?
