George Clooney and Renee Zellweger have set tongues wagging after being seen looking more than friendly at a bash over the weekend.

Clooney and Zellweger, who are longtime friends, were spotted chatting at a post-BAFTA party in London Sunday. Sources say the two spent the evening together at an exclusive after-party at the Dorchester Hotel hosted by Clooney. A source said the two "huddled together" and were "canoodling" in a corner all night. Reportedly, bartenders had to shut things down at 5 a.m. and reportedly "the pair went giggling down a corridor clutching a bottle of champagne." Clooney and Zellweger reportedly dated in 2003 after she split from fiancé Jim Carrey, but both have always maintained that they are "just friends." Friends with occasional benefits?
Clooney has been romantically linked to a number of beauties over the past few months. It was reported that he was spotted on two different occasions playing tonsil hockey with Charlie’s Angels actress Lucy Liu. Liu slams reports that they are romantically involved maintaining that they are "just old friends." Furthermore, she explains, "If I was out with George, I’d never be making out with him in public." It has been rumored that the two shared a fling in 2000.
On the heels of the Clooney-Liu romance, it was reported he was dating Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher. The two were said to be dating after being spotted looking chummy in Southern California. Both camps have denied they are anything other than "good friends and neighbors." When asked if he was going to be taking Hatcher to the Oscars, Clooney responded, "No, no chance." Clooney is up for three Oscar nominations.
