Body, Mind and Emotions: The rise of the Guru
Presently, the only things that are truly experience are your body, your mind, and of course your emotions. You also know them that to an extent, because in today’s hectic life, it really isn’t all that important, right! Wrong!
Understanding the presence of Chakras
For many Yoga exponents, experiencing this energy is second nature. According to Yogic texts, there are four ways you can get to where you want to, in life. The practitioners believe that a balance of mind and body creates a state of equilibrium; one that flows through each level of your system, ultimately making you reach success. It is through the body, the mind, our emotion, (or even energy levels, for that matter) that you can find your way out. More often people find that there is this vacuum that is created in everyone’s life; a vaccuum that either makes one happy or successful. Or let me put it this way; a feeling that makes you feel that there can be two possibilities, that one can either be rich or happy!
A balance in all four mannerisms is what lies locked within oneself. You may be of any temperament; dominant, patient, or even emotional, you’ll notice that it’s the balance of mind that rules success. We more or less associate heaty temperaments with disciplined people. It is those people whom we, in lay terms consider to be both; rich and successful. There have been scores of management lessons that help you deal with situations, in an effective manner, but rarely do you come across the balance of these four elements to help you climb and aim higher!
It is just that only if it is mixed in the right way for you, it works best for you. Its more like meshing the right, read as patient temperament that can be mixed with the presence of mind and right attitude! Coming back to the Chakras. Charkas are nothing but channels that are within your body, which you need to recognize.
These are generally activated when you perform yoga asanas. And for this you need a guru The rise of the Guru, it has been observed quite recently has placed the human race, pretty much from where it began. All this while we have unknowingly so plagued by taking in instructions that we find it difficult to avoid the situation where we have to use our heads. In this maddening world, where everything seems to be timed, we seek a guru to enlighten us. Be it the professional front or personal counseling, a guru is always at the nook and corner of our lives.
Our actions and us!
What we truly need to do is give a thought to our actions and most of all give sometime to ourselves. What is this hassle of scoring on top of the other! If only you would have waited to completely listen to your wife, you wouldn’t have heard the comment that men are horrible listeners. And that in the garb of being more action oriented, they simply address their better halves as gossipmongers! A guru takes complete advantage of this situation.
He tells you all that you already know! That you need to appreciate the other, take time off for yourself, introspect a little on the actions and fine tune your body in a manner that makes you well equipped for just about anything! If you remember right, our parents taught us the values of getting up early, something that went on to tell us that early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.
Perhaps we learnt the principle but forgot to apply it in person. Or perhaps it was just that we were surrounded by so many instances that we let that affect us and what really occurred later on were but reminisces or after effects of the situation.
It is true that what might work for one person, may not necessarily work for the other, but don’t you feel that we are ultimately coming from the one source that was created for us! Despite the many names that you might give him, the Almighty still remains the same. It’s just that your patience level was a wee bit more than the other. Think about it! You surely don’t need a guru to guide you through this!
