New Line of Makeup Enhances Natural Beauty of Redheads

Paula Pennypacker, a redhead, saw that redheads -- those born with it, and those who have been salon-enhanced -- have a difficult time finding natural-looking beauty products. She decided to create her own line of cosmetics, which takes into account the natural skin coloring of redheads.
Before starting Just for Redheads (JFR), Pennypacker, 43, was a radio host and mayoral candidate in of Toledo, Ohio. Unhappy with the way she looked on television, she set out to design a mascara that would be flattering for redheads. Her solution: the top selling, auburn hued, GingerRed Mascara. With the success of this mascara, she vowed to change the lives of redheads forever.
Most mascaras are made for brunettes, Pennypacker asserts. But "Black mascara is too harsh and garish looking -- it makes us look like we have raccoon eyes," she says. JFR delivers a more natural look by creating products specifically designed for redheads.
To compliment its line of cosmetics, the company is introducing a new line of hair accessories. "Hair Scrunchies," the hot hair accessory designed in Milan, Italy, are made of top quality synthetic hair and are now available in four great shades just for redheads.
With Scrunchies, a few minutes is all it takes to completely change your look from formal, to business, to classic beauty, to sizzling romantic. "Today's active redheads have less time on their hands. With Scrunchies, they can go from a simple ponytail to a sexy new look in seconds," Pennypacker said.
JFR has been featured in many national publications including People Magazine, and on the cover of Costco Magazine. It was also featured on the New Attitudes segment on "Lifetime for Women" and the nationally syndicated "Crook & Chase Show."
Two famous makeup artists use JFR. Tina Earnshaw, makeup artist for "Titanic," selected the product for Gwyneth Paltrow in the film "Bounce." She needed to make Gwyneth look like a natural redhead and said; "JFR's Mascara Naturelle was absolutely wondrous on Ms Paltrow's very fair complexion."
Makeup artist Tricia Sawyer also loves the product. "The JFR mascaras for redheads are great! My sister is a natural redhead and she was so excited when I told her about it, she practically leapt across the table. I even use them on my mother," she said.
