Donald Trump v. Martha Stewart
Martha Stewart has blamed Donald Trump for the failure of her reality television show The Apprentice.

Stewart has recently said that she feels her NBC reality show failed because Trump’s version took up too much airtime. Stewart said, "Having two Apprentices was as unfair to him as it was unfair to me. But Donald really wanted to stay on." Stewart maintains that only her version of the show was to appear on television and was meant to have started off with her firing Trump. The only question is would she have written him a nice letter explaining why she had to let him go? Trump denies that this was ever an option.
Trump quickly responded and said the only one to blame for the failure of the show was Stewart herself. Said Trump, "Your performance was terrible in that the show lacked mood, temperament, and just about everything a show needs for success." He went on to say he knew the show would fail after watching it. He said, "Between your daughter, with her one-word statements, your letter writing and, most importantly, your totally unconvincing demeanor it never had a chance."
Stewart stands behind the show and says he has "no regrets." Said Stewart, "If I had my druthers, there would have been only one Apprentice show on the air at one time." Stewart says, "I am very proud of the work we did with Mark Burnett Productions and Mr. Trump, who was an executive producer, on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart. Many young entrepreneurs learned so much from the show and enjoyed it." Did anyone really think two shows so similar would do well against one another? For her part, Stewart is concentrating on her other show, Martha. Stewart said, "The show is just getting smoother and better. And I’m actually enjoying it."
