England v Pakistan: the Pakistan Reply
Over-by-over: A decent knock from Paul Collingwood saw England post a decent target of 246-8. How will Pakistan reply? Allow Scott Murray to answer that one.
3rd over: Pakistan 13-1 (Saeed Anwar 1, Inzamam-ul-Haq 0)
It's Inzy! I love Inzamam.
WICKET: Pakistan 13-1 c Shahid Afridi Stewart, b Caddick 6
Shahid Afridi finally gets to face one. Face = stand around and watch Buggerlugs get in on the wides act. Then he wallops a HUGE six into the crowd over deep mid wicket. He's on fire! Eh... scrub all that. Caddick sends down a ball which moves off the seam to the off side, flummoxing the batsman, who is looking to drive back down the pitch. An outside edge finds Stewart's gloves. On your way.
2nd over: Pakistan 6-0 (Saeed Anwar 1, Shahid Afridi 0)
Saeed Anwar keeps strike and faces James Anderson. Faces = stands around and watches the young bowler struggle to find his line. There's a wide, then four leg byes.
1st over: Pakistan 1-0 (Saeed Anwar 1, Shahid Afridi 0)
Right, Pakistan are chasing 247 to win. Caddick hares down the wicket and sends some fast deliveries whistling around the ears of Saeed Anwar. He's getting a bit of movement off the seam. Five dot balls. Can he get his maiden? Sadly no: the ball's clipped towards extra cover and Saeed's off the mark.
