Bad Snoop Dogg, Bad
A new multi-million dollar sexual assault lawsuit has been brought against rapper Snoop Dogg and members of his crew.

Kylie Bell, a make-up artist, has named Snoop Dogg, aka Calvin Broadus, members of his crew, ABC, Walt Disney, and Jimmy Kimmel Live as defendants in the lawsuit seeking $25 million in damages. Bell won an Emmy in 2002 for her work on HBO’s hit show Six Feet Under. Bell says that she was hired in January 2003 as Snoop’s make-up artist for his guest hosting gig on Jimmy Kimmel Live. In her lawsuit, Bell claims she witnessed a lot of drug use including champagne, marijuana, and cocaine. During a party held after Snoop’s last night of taping, Bell alleges that one of Snoop’s posse gave her what she believed to be champagne.
Bell states that after drinking the beverage, she began to feel "very heavy" and could not control her body. She claims that she was then sexually assaulted by Snoop and several of his co-horts and that three of them, including Snoop, then raped her. Bell claims in her suit that she told her family of the incident, but was advised against alerting the police for fear of Snoop’s alleged gang ties and of possible retaliation. Bell claims to have suffered "extreme emotional distress and anxiety" stemming from the alleged incident, leading to her not being able to work, and to a September 2003 hospitalization for psychiatric problems.
In her suit, Bell says that the rapper began paying her expenses after she was hospitalized and they reached an agreement by which she would receive financial compensation from Snoop. She claims a settlement was reached on January 6, but fell through a mere 12 days later when Snoop’s insurance company refused to pay part of the settled upon amount. Now Bell is seeking the paltry sum of $25 million in damages.
