Kid Rock, Scott Stapp Sex Tape Surfaces

The video was acquired by Red Light District, the distributor of Paris Hilton’s infamous sextape One Night in Paris. A 40-second clip of the 45-minute tape can be seen on numerous sites on the web and shows the singers cavorting with four female groupies in a tour bus. The video was reportedly shot in 1999 while the two were touring together. The tape features the two men engaging in explicit sex acts with the women. The men do not engage in any sex acts with each other, but can be seen and heard talking to one another while engaging in the acts with the women.

David Joseph, Red Light District president, said he purchased the tape from "a third party source who was about to put it out for free on the Internet. I basically stopped him from doing that." Joseph also said, "We haven’t decided exactly what we are doing with it, but our goal is to release it towards the middle or end of this year." Joseph has reportedly tried to contact both Stapp and Rock without any success. Said Joseph, "This wasn’t just shot by one person…Because of that, it’s not necessary that we need (Rock and Stapp) to sign off on this. We left messages for them but they didn’t respond, so maybe they didn’t take it seriously."

This is all Stapp needs after his recent antics landed him on the wrong side of the law. Just last week, Stapp married girlfriend and former Miss New York Jaclyn Nesheiwat in Miami. The following day he was arrested for public intoxication at LAX airport after airport personnel refused to let him board a plane to Hawaii for his honeymoon. Stapp was previously treated for substance abuse in 2004. Maybe the release of the tape will pump a little life back into both Stapp and Rock’s careers. Neither has done so well on the charts lately. Rock has a new disc hitting stores this month called Live Trucker and Stapp is slated to go on tour later this month.
