Curlers Cruise Past Russia

Winter Olympics: Great Britain's women curlers returned to winning ways with an emphatic 10-4 victory over Russia.
Great Britain's women curlers got back to winning ways today with an emphatic 10-4 victory over Russia at Pinerolo.

It was just what the team needed after an 8-6 defeat to favorites Sweden yesterday.

Skip Rhona Martin grabbed control against the rank outsiders by taking four points from the third end and never looked likely to surrender that advantage as she wrapped up Britain's biggest win of the tournament so far.

The women's team have now won three of the their first four matches and look set fair to qualify for the next stage.
