The Ben Affleck to Jennifer Lopez Engagement Ring is On the Market

The 6.1 carat pink diamond has been "reacquired" by Harry Winston and is back on the market for an undisclosed sum and only available to " serious bidders." The ring obviously was not a source of luck for Bennifer, but now it is getting another shot in the love department. Maybe the next person who wears the ring will actually make it down the aisle. How big a market can there be out there for a tainted engagement ring? Affleck bought the ring to show his undying love for Lopez back in 2002 for a mere $1.2 million. The couple’s famous romance and wedding plans went belly-up in January 2004.

Lopez married singer Marc Anthony just six-months after her split from Affleck in a surprise wedding at her home. Since the big break-up, Affleck has been squiring actress Jennifer Garner. The two reportedly had a fling on the set of their movie Daredevil back when Garner was married and Ben was known as Mr. J. Lo. The two have been enjoying a romance since her split from her Alias co-star Michael Vartan.

Sources say that Affleck is ready to settle down with the Elektra star and is set to place a ring on her finger. Since the spectacle that was known as "Bennifer," Affleck’s career and reputation have been uncertain. Maybe a quiet and understated romance is just what he needs. He is currently working on a new film titled Man About Town and is slated to appear in a movie about, how fitting, the World Series of Poker. Come on, Ben, you need a hit and we are rooting for you!
