Almost matching the Grumpy Old Men series of films, the Mike Tyson/ Evander Holyfield saga may continue into a third fight, according to mounting speculation in the United States.

The 37-year-old Tyson, inactive for a year after beating the fall guy Clifford Etienne, has indicated he wants the next fight in the series to be staged in May.

Holyfield has decided to fight on despite being badly beaten by the former cruiserweight champion James Toney in October. The London promoter Frank Warren has been approached by Holyfield's attorney Jim Thomas to promote the 41-year-old "Real Deal". Warren, however, refused the invitation, saying Holyfield should quit rather than absorb any further punishment.

Holyfield stopped Tyson against the odds in their first fight in 1996 and beat him again in the return a year later when Tyson was disqualified for biting a chunk out of Holyfield's ear. The two contests were the biggest-grossing fights in heavyweight history.
