Britney Spears' Romance With Ex

Sources say that Britney Spears and her ex-husband, Jason Alexander, are dating out of the public eye. After their disastrous trip down the aisle last month, Spears’ family and advisors encouraged her to get an annulment. They felt that the marriage would be detrimental to Spears’ career. A source close to the couple says, "Britney’s family just wants her to date him for awhile. If they do it the right way, her family will let them get married." Is she incapable of making her own decisions?

Spears was recently spotted wearing a gold wedding band on her left ring finger and a week later was sporting a "blingity bling" diamond. No one close to the pop tart knows whom the rings are from or what they symbolize. Apparently, Spears has been dating Alexander and was set to meet him in Las Vegas for Super Bowl weekend but cancelled at the last minute fearing that they might be seen together. Alexander did show up in Vegas for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, but Spears’ rep denied any reports that she was to join him.

Alexander hotly denies any reports of Spears paying him off to keep him quiet. Louisiana locals aren’t so sure about that. It seems Alexander has been showing off his new purchases – leather shoes, diamond studs in both ears, and a suede jacket – causing the locals to believe there was some sort of pay-off. If there is any truth to the rumors that the two are still an item, it remains to be seen if it is true love! Maybe Britney’s just sporting the bling to keep us guessing!
