Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston: The End?

Rumors of the golden couple’s doomed romance have littered the tabloids and made for good water cooler fodder for the past few months. After Aniston forgot to thank her husband during her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, all hell broke loose. Jen & Brad are getting a divorce! It’s over for the golden couple! Because she forgot to thank him?! Well, there have been a few other incidents that have the gossip mill working overtime.

Pitt was a no-show at the People’s Choice Awards. This seemed strange since the couple usually attends events together. It has been reported that before Thanksgiving, Pitt took a solo journey to visit family in his hometown of Springfield, Missouri and is often said to spend the weekends at the couple’s "getaway" home in Santa Barbara, California. On a recent vacation with pals Courteney Cox, husband David Arquette, and Pitt’s personal assistant and her fiancé, the girls pretty much reportedly hung out while the guys did their thing. Jen & Brad didn’t seem very affectionate during the trip and they never held hands or kissed in public.

It would seem that with every move made or not made in the public eye, even the smallest thing can be misinterpreted. The general public loves to read about the scandals, failed marriages, and unhappiness of celebrities. Maybe Brad and Jen are having problems or maybe it is just how the media is twisting things. It doesn’t really matter what is going on within the couple’s marriage…people always believe what they really want to believe. Until we read about their divorce they will remain tinseltown’s reining golden couple.
