Aaron Buerge Single Again

The Bachelor’s Aaron Buerge, 28, and his "bachelorette" Helene Eksterowicz, 27, are officially over according to sources.
Just two months after The Bachelor’s Aaron Buerge proposed to Helene Eksterowicz on national television, sources say the couple is officially over. That’s right, kaput. Stick a fork in ‘em…they’re done. Anyone surprised? Sources say that Helene visited Aaron in his hometown of Springfield, Missouri and things between the "happy" couple were "tense." The source says, "He visited her around New Year’s. It didn’t go well, and they broke up around the beginning of January."

The only glitch is that they cannot go public with their break-up. According to another source, Buerge and Eksterowicz "signed a contract with ABC saying that they would stay together in public for a certain amount of time." But there have been reports that Buerge has already been on the prowl for someone new and has even reportedly asked another woman out. ABC has had no comment on the couple or their status, but it seemed pretty apparent that the "happy" couple wasn’t so happy. In interviews done with both of them, they seemed uncomfortable at best.

Can a true romance spark under the glare of cameras, lights and millions of viewers in just few short months? It didn’t seem to work for the original "bachelor" Alex Michel and his pick, Amanda Marsh. Add that to the rumors that Buerge and Eksterowicz have split. It will be interesting to see how The Bachelorette’s Trista Rehn fares. The latest reality romance quest is down to the final two contestants – Ryan and Charlie. Recent rumors have her paired with Charlie and they claim to have found true love. If she does end up with Charlie, will it be for real? Or is it a signed contract with ABC?
