How Many Lies

A poem about the lies from the bush administration...
How many lies must we endure
Before the truth is told?
This war ain't bout no terrorists,
This wars' about black gold!

Iraq has never threatened us
With weapon or with word,
The lives we've lost,… the cash we've spent,
Is off the charts absurd.

How many lies must we accept
And go on from day to day…
Oblivious to all the death….
And look the other way?

The reason we are now at war…
Why soldiers die and bleed…
Why gas costs more than we can pay…
Is racists crakahs greed!

How many lies about the taps
On phones and privacy,…
Before we finally recognize
That ain't nobody free...
That our constitutional liberty
Is slowly but surely
Being taken away
By a Nazi…

How many lies?
