Can't You Hear Me Crying?

This poem is just about my feelings back when I was suffering from extreme depression. Hope you like it.
Can't you hear me crying?
Or is it just in my head
Sometimes I have to scream so loud
That I just wish I was dead.
Can't you hear me calling?
Calling your name so loud
I just wanted to make you happy
Just wanted to make you proud.
Can't you hear me breaking?
My soul withering away
You don't like to listen
So why should I stay
Can't you hear me falling?
Falling into black
By the time you read this poem
Will you want me back?
Can't you hear me asking?
Asking for your hand
To save me from this nightmare
To save me from my plan.
Can't you hear me crying?
Day in and day out
I hope this poem taught you
What I was all about.
