Nick Lachey Moves On

Lachey has been spotted numerous times looking more than friendly with a woman named Elizabeth Arnold. Arnold is an aspiring actress and a former Miss Kentucky. A source revealed, "She is the mystery brunette who has been seen with Nick around [L.A.]. They’ve been together for about a month." The two were reportedly spotted making out a few weeks ago at a Los Angeles club. Said an onlooker, "He couldn’t keep his hands off her." It was then reported that the two showed up looking more than friendly over the weekend for a birthday bash for That 70’s Show star Wilmer Valderrama. A source said, "Nick had his arm around her all night." Of course Lachey’s camp has remained mum on the subject.

Well, looks like Simpson got exactly what she wanted. It was reported a few weeks ago that she was ready to begin dating in the public eye, but didn’t want to appear "heartless" since it was so soon after her split from Lachey. Now that it seems Lachey has moved on, Simpson should be free to date whomever she pleases. There was talk that the two were going to try and salvage their relationship, but sources say that in recent weeks the two decided to just move on and get on with their lives separately.

As for Simpson, there has been serious buzz that she has secretly been romancing Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. It has even been rumored that the two shared a brief fling while she was still with Lachey. Reps for both Simpson and Levine have denied that there is anything between the two, claiming that they are just friends. Simpson has allegedly become one of the most sought after women in Hollywood. A pal of Simpson’s was quoted as saying, "She’s not acting on any of it. She’s enjoying the attention, but is not ready to date." Not yet anyway…
