Mary-Kate Olsen Opens up About Ex

It was reported in October that Olsen was leaving her studies and heading back to California, saying she was taking a leave of absence to "focus on her increasing responsibilities as co-president of Dualstar Entertainment Group and to pursue personal interests." Now Olsen has spoken out on her decision and said in a recent interview that she needed to quit her studies at New York University and return to Los Angeles to get over Niarchos and the fact that he is dating Olsen’s former friend, Paris Hilton. Said Olsen, "I miss him and I love him and I don’t speak with him anymore. It’s a hurtful and painful subject…This is a hard time for me." MK said of her relationship with Hilton, "We’re not talking."

Olsen was reportedly devastated when Niarchos broke things off with her to start dating Hilton. She said in the interview that she needed to go back to California saying, "I’m happy that I kind of realized that, okay, I just need to take care of myself right now. I need to be able to go to yoga and work out and just read scripts and go on auditions." She said the "less-stressful life" makes "me happy" and "(school) papers don’t really make me happy." The "less-stressful" life seems to be agreeing with her. She seems to have gained put on a few pounds for a healthier look.

Sources say that Niarchos has taken notice of Olsen’s new form. It has been rumored that Niarchos is sick of Hilton and wants to get back together with Mary-Kate. A "friend" of MK’s said, "Stavros has been text-messaging MK a lot recently. He sends messages like, ‘How you doing? Give me a call.’ But she’s not responding." The source said that Niarchos "misses the old times with Mary-Kate" and is sick of the "constant drama" with Hilton. Well, Stav, the grass is always greener, huh?!
