Beyonce’s Dilemma

It has been reported that tensions are running high between Beyonce’s father, Mathew, and her fiancé Jay-Z. Mathew has managed the singer since the beginning of her career and now Jay-Z is trying to take control. Mathew has admitted in the past that he doesn’t like Jay-Z. He has said, "I don’t care for Jay-Z at all. I’m certainly not close to him." Sources say that Mathew does not approve of the rapper’s past. It has been reported that Jay-Z used to sell crack and a source said Mathew ordered Beyonce not to date him.

A source close to the family said, "Beyonce asked her father to give him a chance because Jay had changed his life and was no longer involved in drugs." The source also revealed that Mathew relented to keep his daughter happy and allowed her and Jay to develop a relationship. The problem now is that Jay-Z is now saying that if he were "Beyonce's manager he would handle her - and Destiny's Child - differently."

Reportedly Jay-Z feels that Beyonce and Destiny's Child could do much better if they were a little "edgier." He feels that Beyonce's girl-next-door image is hindering her career. It doesn't seem like Beyonce's "girl-next-door" image is hurting her career much. This leaves Beyonce in a very difficult position with her father and her fiancé fighting over whom could better manage her career. Reportedly Beyonce has been emotionally drained and often left in tears over how to resolve the issue without hurting the two men in her life. Does father know best? Or should she listen to her future hubby?
