The Planet Venus
Venus, the jewel of the sky, was once known by ancient astronomers as both, the morning star and evening star, it has been associated with the emotion of love since times immemorial!
Introduction
Early astronomers once thought Venus to be two separate bodies. Venus; named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty, is veiled by thick swirling cloud cover if you ever get a chance to have a look at this by the telescope. Astronomers refer to Venus as Earth's sister planet. Although both are similar to look at, in reality, Venus eludes the person in such a fantastic manner that one is quite lost after having seen it through the telescope. It is no wonder than that people with an exalted Venus in their horoscopes are either highly romantic or have an exhalted sexual desire in them. People who belong to this category are an interesting mix of high headedness and aggression. Typically such people are either Librans, Scorpins or even those that belong to the zodiac sign of Aries.
Stones related to the Planets
More often than not when we prescribe stones for people to wear for their prosperity, there a lot of factors involved, besides the horoscope. As gem astrologers, we need to monitor both the planetary actions occurred so far as well as the sun and moon signs of a person. It is interesting to note that both; the earth and Venus are similar in size, mass, density and volume. Both were formed about roughly the same time and condensed out of the same nebula. However, research proves that the kinship ends here. Venus is very different from the Earth. It has this orangish hue to itself, making those most effected by it wear the stone, by the name of coral. If you’d notice, corals also come in different shades of orange.
Venus is scorched with a surface temperature of about 482° C (900° F). This high temperature is primarily due to a runaway greenhouse effect caused by the heavy atmosphere of carbon dioxide. And simultaneously we also arrive at the theory that people under this sign are irritatingly short tempered and have a lot of fire in them. Whether it is the brilliance that they emit of the passion for things beyond one’s imagination, Venus almost always traps and affects the people who belong to this planet along with the others who surround them. Because the sunlight passes through the atmosphere to heat the surface of the planet, people belonging to this category are always above average, intelligence wise. And since the heat is radiated out, and trapped by the dense atmosphere, it does not escape, making Venus hotter than its counterpart, Mercury.
Venus and Venus People
Almost as hot as Lava, Venus is known to emit heat from within itself thus giving us ample examples to understand the nature of people who belong or fall under its spell. Scorpions are known to be the fiery kind and also those that have almost all qualities that belong to Venus. As tough as it may be to break through the stubborn attitude of a Scorpion, its equally beneficial to those around him. So if you remain in the Scorpion’s or Arian’s good books chances are that you’ll probably benefit from them.
Since both these signs are known to be back stabbing ones, its important to note that when you are affected by the effects of Venus, in your horoscope, you may experience a windfall of money during that period of time and may even miss out on opportunities if you are not careful. So the next time you deal with people, and like me if you are known to be moody, do think twice before you encounter the Venus people. Of course the charming Libran would do you no harm, but then you never know, after all the Almighty made us all unique right!
