Lindsay Lohan Apologizes

Lohan was scheduled to appear on Live with Regis and Kelly on Tuesday, but it was reported that five minutes after the show started Lohan’s mouthpiece alerted Live producers that Lohan was sick and wouldn’t be there. A peeved Reeg said to Ripa on air, "Lindsay Lohan is sick. She’s not coming. Well, that’s kind of a blow." Philbin went on to say, "She has food poison. What’d they find out, about five after nine?…She tried to make it."

Lohan was to appear on the show to promote her latest CD A Little More Personal (Raw), which hit stores Tuesday. Ironically, Lohan was spotted Monday night at the Time’s Square premiere of King Kong and happen to make a speedy recovery from her bout with food poisoning to appear on MTV’s TRL Tuesday afternoon. Lohan’s camp has remained mum on the subject. Reeg and Kelly replaced Lohan with a performance and interview with Ashanti and a holiday toy demo.

Lohan appeared on Wednesday night’s edition of Access Hollywood and directed an apology to Philbin and Ripa. Said Lohan, "I’m really sorry because I love you guys. I know it came across really bad. I’ll make it up to you, I swear!" She may have to do a little more than that to make it up to Regis and Kelly. Lohan went on to say, "I’m not going to name any places I went to eat or anything, but I had some food poisoning, which wasn’t really fun!" Food poisoning…good try, Lindsay, but doubt many people buy it!
