Christmas Not Enough for the Grinch

Hollywood’s superstar funnyman allegedly found Faith Hill irresistible after working with her on "The Grinch."
As Jim Carrey’s latest feature film continues to shatter box office records with its amazing holiday success, some Hollywood insiders are whispering about Carrey’s budding obsession for Country Music’s premiere diva. While she was working on the video soundtrack for Ron Howard’s latest adventure, Faith Hill caught the eye, and the heart, of none other than the Grinch himself. Sources close to the production revealed that Carrey was visible smitten with the Queen of Country Music and went so far as to contact her after shooting to compliment her on her work. Although this definitely caught the attention of the staff, the former Pet Detective was not quite finished with his courting ritual.

Carrey crossed the proverbial line when he sent an elaborate flower arrangement to Faith in appreciation for her effort on the video and soundtrack for the film. Faith’s husband and Country Icon, Tim McGraw, took immediate offense to the gesture from Carrey and called him personally to state his personal opinion about The Grinch’s advances. Although Jim denied that his interest in Faith was anything more than professional, he offered an apology in an attempt to assuage McGraw, who was reportedly still fuming over the incident.

As Christmas rapidly approaches, Hollywood insiders will be watching this one very closely. Everyone knows Carrey’s relationship track record, and his new role as The Grinch may have convinced him that stealing Faith Hill could be even easier than Christmas.
